Adrian Varney

Program Officer,
Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Having always felt like a Coloradoan at heart, Adrian moved to the high country in 2010 where her passion for the outdoors was truly born.  Growing up in rural Southern California, she knew from a young age that Colorado would be her home eventually, and shortly after gaining her degree in Business Administration and Finance, she packed up and moved.  After working for Colorado Parks and Wildlife for 6 years, she joined GOCO in 2018 and now works as the CPW Program Officer - aligning her personal values with her professional career perfectly.  She moved to Colorado for the winters, but ended up staying for the summers.  She spends most of her free time outdoors exploring the state with her little rescue dog, Thor, who loves hiking, paddle boarding, and camping with her.
