Brenda recently retired after a 40-year career in banking. For the past 50 years, she has lived and worked on her fifth-generation family farm and ranch north of Lamar. She serves as the agriculture representative on the GOCO board and is passionate about conserving Colorado’s natural resources, open spaces, and working lands for future generations.
Brenda and her husband, Dallas, have placed a conservation easement on their working ranch and continually strive to protect the native grasslands, emerging wetlands, and other resources that provide habitat for several endangered and protected species. Lifelong residents of Colorado’s Eastern Plains, Brenda and Dallas have three children and eight grandchildren.
