Adam Eichberg (D)
Adam Eichberg brings more than three decades of experience in conservation policy, public affairs, and nonprofit leadership to the board. A fourth-generation Coloradan, Adam’s family has called the state home since the late 1880s, shaping a lifelong connection to Colorado’s landscapes and outdoor heritage.
Adam began his career working on political campaigns and later served as a strategic consultant for one of the nation’s largest conservation organizations, where he designed and helped pass ballot measures, generating more than $14 billion in funding for parks, open space, and outdoor recreation. He went on to found and lead a multimillion-dollar foundation supporting innovative policy and advocacy efforts at the local, state, and federal levels. Adam later held a senior leadership role at a Colorado state agency and served on Governor Bill Ritter’s senior staff.
Most recently, Adam was a principal at Headwaters Strategies, a boutique public affairs firm he co-founded. He now works as an independent consultant and chairs the board of Sunflower Services, a public benefit corporation providing operational support to mission-driven organizations. He also serves on the board of the New Venture Fund, one of the nation’s largest fiscal sponsors. Adam lives in Denver in a newly emptied nest with his wife Jen where they enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling on and off road, and spending time outdoors together.
