Mina joined the Pikes Peak Community Foundation in 2019 and oversees community engagement efforts for grantmaking and community leadership activities. Prior to the Foundation, Mina was the Public Health Planner for El Paso County Public Health and has over 18 years of public health experience, working at the state, local, and nonprofit levels. Mina has led numerous collaborative initiatives, building strong cross-sectional partnerships for transformational impact and has overseen various grassroots community advocacy efforts. Mina serves on the boards of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute (CSLI), Garden of the Gods Foundation, and the UCHealth-Memorial Health System. Mina was selected as a Colorado Springs Business Journal (CSBJ) Woman of Influence; CSBJ Rising Star, honoring 25 of the best professionals under 40; holds a Master of Science in Community Health Education from the University of New Mexico, and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. She has called Colorado Springs home since 2001.
