Carrie Curtiss has worked at the intersection of public policy, nonprofit advocacy, and politics throughout her twenty-plus-year career in Colorado. She recently spent a decade working to conserve and protect Colorado's land, water, and natural resources with Conservation Colorado, the state's largest environmental organization. Currently, Carrie works at Western Resource Advocates as vice president of campaigns and political strategy. Previously, she was senior advisor to The Impact Project, which sought to advance economic security and participation in democracy across a multi-state region. Carrie is passionate about building successful advocacy programs capable of achieving meaningful and lasting impacts at the state and local level.  

Carrie received her graduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis after serving as a volunteer in the Peace Corps in a small desert town in rural Morocco. Carrie lives in Golden with her husband and two children. In their free time, they love to explore, hike, bike, and spend time in the outdoors in their backyard and throughout Colorado.
