Alex Castino

Program Officer,
Northern Front Range

Alex is passionate about conserving the special places of Colorado and working to ensure outdoor spaces are accessible and welcoming to all Coloradoans. Alex joined GOCO after five years working to conserve Colorado's land and water.

Alex has worked on conservation easement tax credit transactions and acquired over 2,000 acres in fee and conservation easement for the benefit of Larimer County's current and future residents and visitors. She moved to Colorado’s front range in 2014 from Vermont, where she received her Juris Doctor and Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. She is a licensed Colorado attorney.

Alex loves collaborating with partners to identify opportunities for transformational impact in communities and elevate shared priorities.

When she's not working to protect the outdoors, you can catch Alex enjoying them by mountain biking, camping, gardening, sailing, and snowboarding with her husband Frank, her children Francis and Parker, and her sweet dog, Lady.
