Estrella Woods

Program Officer,

Estrella joined the GOCO team in June 2021. Hailing from Maine, she moved to Colorado after college, and what was meant to be one winter season visit turned into many. She has worked within the ski industry in Colorado in international sales and marketing, as well as nonprofit work focused on health and human services. Estrella studied Language Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz and completed an MBA with Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.

Estrella has lived on the Western Slope for over twenty years. She volunteers with local food banks, and festivals in Telluride, and served on committees such as the international promotions committee with the Colorado Tourism Office and the Tourism Advisory Committee with the City of Fruita. Above all, Estrella enjoys being outside in nature, hiking, biking, skiing, and Nordic skiing. She tries her hand at growing garlic and making small batches of apricot jam. Estrella is excited to share her passion for outdoor recreation and being a steward of the land in SW Colorado.
