Here’s your chance to help guide how Colorado Lottery proceeds are put to work for our shared outdoors. Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) is seeking public feedback on its draft 2025 Strategic Plan Update that will inform our grantmaking for the next five years, July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2030.
As you know, GOCO invests a portion of Colorado Lottery proceeds in conservation and recreation projects and initiatives statewide. Since our creation by Colorado voters in 1992, that’s more than 5,800 partner-led projects in all 64 counties. Now, we need your help shaping what’s next. Anyone interested in the future of our outdoors is welcome to contribute.
The draft is informed by initial partner feedback and lessons learned from implementing our 2020 Strategic Plan. We need your insight to finalize priorities and grant programs that will support a sustainable future for Colorado’s incredible natural resources, wildlife, and outdoor recreation.
